Raipur: An 18-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang raped by two youths in Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.
“A case has been registered against Durgesh and Golu, the residents of Bandha village in Amarkantak area of Madhya Pradesh, for abducting and raping the girl, based on the complaint by her parents yesterday,” Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Agrawal told PTI.
“The girl, who is also the resident of Bandha village, was kidnapped on January 7 by the two accused and brought to Bahpani village, around 150 kms away from her native place, where they sedated her and repeatedly raped her for three days,” Agrawal said.
The duo also brutally beat up the girl before dumping her on the road near Bahpani village in Kabirdham district.
On seeing the injured girl on the road, villagers informed the police after which she was rushed to a hospital, he said.
A case was registered in this connection and has been forwarded to Amrakantak police of MP, he added.
