Fake in India? Twitterati claim Railway Minister Piyush Goyal shared edited video of ‘Vande Bharat Express’

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal recently went viral for sharing a video of Vande Bharat Express which was ‘Made in India.’ However the video was later called out for being fake, in the video shared by Piyush Goyal we can see the Vande Bharat Express passing through a station super speed. He also shared a caption which read, “It’s a bird…It’s a plane…Watch India’s first semi-high speed train built under ‘Make in India’ initiative, Vande Bharat Express zooming past at lightning speed.”

As soon as the minister tweeted the video, many twitter users claimed that the speed of the video was forwarded twice (2x) that of the original. A YouTube channel named ‘The RailMail’ shared the original video on their official channel, take a look

Many social media users called Goyal out for sharing the fake video, but there were some who praised the government for the #Train18 project.
