Panaji: Former Goa CM Digambar Kamat was questioned for around eight hours on Thursday by Enforcement Directorate officials in connection with the Louis Berger bribery case. An official told reporters that Kamat was quizzed at the ED office here regarding a contract granted to the New Jersey-based consultancy firm, accused of bribing several Congress leaders and bureaucrats. “He is also being questioned about his file notings as well as then Public Works Department Minister Churchill Alemao,” the official said. Kamat, who also spoke to the media at the ED office after questioning, said he was cooperating in the probe.
