Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached movable properties worth Rs. 17.66 crore of M/s Amnesty International India Pvt. Ltd. and others.
Earlier in September 2020, Amnesty International India has decided to shut its operations in the country after the Government of India froze its bank accounts. The organisation has also been compelled to let go of its 150 staff members in India and pause all its ongoing campaign and research work.
