Patna : LJP President Ram Vilas Paswan’s son-in-law, Anil Kumar Sadhu (in pic), today raised a banner of revolt against him over the denial of a ticket for the Bihar Assembly elections and announced his decision to field Dalit Sena candidates in all the districts to defeat NDA nominees.

The furious son-in-law held an emergency meeting of all district presidents of Dalit Sena, of which he is the president, and decided to burn the effigy of Ramvilas Paswan tomorrow to protest against the way tickets were distributed in the party.

Dalit Sena is an organisation of the weaker section launched by Ramvilas Paswan.

Sadhu, who wanted to enter the fray from Kutumba (reserved seat in Aurangabad district), breathed fire over the seat allotted to former chief minister and HAM founder Jitan Ram Manjhi’s son, Santosh Kumar Suman.

Sadhu said he was not given a ticket though Ramvilas Paswan’s younger brother Pashupati Kumar Paras and Prince Raj, son of Ramchandra Paswan, another brother of the LJP chief, were given tickets.

“But, my claim has been given a damn despite the fact that I had got 53,000 votes from Masaurhi seat in 2010 election,” Sadhu told PTI.

He said his wife would join him in opposing the LJP chief and campaign against NDA nominees across Bihar.

The Dalit Sena chief alleged that money played a key role in ticket distribution in LJP and blamed Ramvilas Paswan and his son Chirag Paswan of favouring people who had allegedly “killed or attacked dalits”.

Launching a scathing attack at LJP President for having forgotten his caste-men, he alleged that “Paswan gets restless when a Paswan touches his feet”.

NDA constituent LJP had yesterday declared its first list of 12 candidates. Declaring the list LJP Parliamentary Board chairman Chirag Paswan had said there was a consensus with the BJP and other NDA allies on 29 of the 40 seats while talks are still on to finalise 11 other seats which his party will contest.
