Contrary stand on quota in contract employment

NEW DELHI: The Government took contrary stand in Rajya Sabha on SC, ST and OBC reservation to persons appoi­n­t­ed on contract basis. Minister of State for PMO Dr Jitendra Singh was emphatic in a reply to Vishambhar Nishad (Samajwadi Party) in the Rajya Sabha that “no instructions have been issued to provide reser­vation while engaging persons on contract basis.” -Our Bureau
