NEW DELHI : The Congress on Friday showed a mirror to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in retort to his plea not to indulge in political blame game on the ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
He had deprecated the Congress questioning his silence and inaction on the bloody ceasefire violations for the past ten days by Pakistan, killing and wounding a score civilians in Jammu and Kashmir.
Congress general secretary and media department chief Ajay Maken replied to him with his own statements last year. He tweeted: Modi Ji -6th Aug 13, see what you asked. Now we ask you on China&Pak; in your own words: ”When will Centre wake up?” In another tweet he reproduced Modi’s statement on that day: “From China’s intrusion to Pakistan’s ambushes — UPA Government has been absolutely lax in securing Indian borders. When will Centre wake up?” On Modi’s comment that “this not the time for political game” on the ceasefire violations, Maken tweeted “READ YOUR STATEMENTS MODI JI,” putting in his post Modi’s five comments last year.
