Charge sheet filed against pop singer Remo for abuse of a child

Panaji : Goa Police has filed a charge sheet against pop singer Remo Fernandes in connection with a verbal abuse case filed against him. The police filed FIR against the singer after the girl, was allegedly knocked down by a car driven by Remo’s son, had complained that she was verbally abused.  “A case under section 8 (for verbally abusing a minor) of Goa Children’s Act was filed against Remo. We have presented the charge sheet to the court on December 1,” police inspector Uday Parab said.     The girl filed a police complaint that Remo verbally abused her while visiting the ward where she was being treated. –PTI
