New Delhi/Patna : The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday stated that the central leadership will study the ongoing political crisis in Bihar and will announce its decision with regards to supporting ousted Janata Dal (United) and Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi at the floor of the state assembly ‘very soon’. “The Bihar legislature party have had their discussions and they are in support of voting in favour of the confidence motion favouring the continuation of Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manji. But the BJP’s central leadership will study the entire situation and will give a final decision today and the party will take a call on supporting him on the floor of the House very soon,” BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao told in the national capital.

Meanwhile in Patna, JD (U) leader Dr Ajay Alok accused the BJP of orchestrating the crisis in Bihar. “The BJP has always been supporting Manjhi. We have been saying for quite some time that BJP is out-and-out behind this game. We have been urging them for so many days to come out into the open and say that they support him,” Dr Alok said. Earlier this week, JD (U) chief Sharad Yadav had suspended seven ministers loyal to Manjhi from the party, claiming that they have not followed the party directive. Manjhi remains confident of gaining the vote of confidence in the Bihar Assembly, ahead of the floor test on Friday.
