New Delhi : BJP is set to raise in Parliament on Monday, the controversial remarks made by Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad comparing Hindutva outfit, RSS, with terrorist organisation, ISIS.
Party sources said some members will raise the issue and seek Azad’s apology as they insisted that any comparison of RSS with a violent organisation like ISIS was “unacceptable” to them.
That Azad chose an event organised by a Muslim body to attack RSS will be handy for the saffron party, they said,
adding that it reflected the “votebank politics” of Congress.Hitting back, an RSS spokesperson in Nagaur had said such a comparison showed “intellectual bankruptcy” of Congress and its “unwillingness to deal with fundamentalist and cruel forces like ISIS”. RSS will consider legal action against Azad, he had said.

Azad may be ‘mentally unsound’: taunts Subramanian Swamy
New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday said that Ghulam Nabi Azad must be mentally unbalanced for comparing RSS with ISIS. Swamy said that instead of blaming RSS, Azad should worry about the brutal behaviour by the ISIS in the name of Islam.
“Ghulam Nabi Azad belongs to a mental asylum if you ask me or maybe he is saying this to please his patrons in Dubai. RSS was invited by Jawaharlal Nehru for the Republic Day parade. An RSS pracharak is the Prime Minister of India now and to say something like that is so hilariously stupid means that either he is mentally unbalanced or he is trying to please somebody who wants to run down the Hindus,” he added.
