Tumakuru (KTK) : Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)  chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday called for a united Hindu society saying “some forces” of the world are trying to divide it by wooing people from its religious fold.

“Few forces of the world want to divide Hindu society. Such forces took away our own people. These people later became the enemies of Hindu society … We need to show a mirror which reflects the unity to each Hindu.

Such a task can be effectively undertaken by Sant-Swamijis of Hindu society,” he said at the inauguration of “Sant Sammelan” at Siddaganga Matha here, reports PTI. Dr Shivakumar Swamiji of Siddaganga Matha along with Bhagwat inaugurated the Sammelan organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations. Bhagwat requested swamijis to analyse and discuss the values of spirituality to be filled in the lives of people.

“We need to discuss the programmes to be organised and steps to be taken to implement these values to guide the misguided with the help of swamijis,” he said. RSS-VHP will give support to swamijis from behind with their social activities, Bhagwat said.  “If Sant-Swamijis are leading the society, we will be there following the religious leadership,” he said.

“We are the believers of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam concept. For a Hindu, no one is an outsider. Each religious sect of India should make this concept clear amongst themselves,” he said. VHP International General secretary Champat Roy said the sadhus and sants had high potentiality to solve all problems facing Hindu society. Bhagwat also released a book authored by senior RSS Pracharak Chandrashekhar Bhandari on VHP. The society should seriously come forward to eradicate social evils like blind beliefs, casteism,” Roy said.
