Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, several design and architecture exams were cancelled or postponed, while many were conducted in online mode.
We have collated a list of architecture/design exams for you:
NATA
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) Test 1 exam has already been conducted. The date for Test 2 has been postponed to July 11.
JEE Main Paper 2
JEE Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Paper 2 has already been conducted. Session 1 was between February 23 to 26, 2021. However, the next sessions of the exam were postponed due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.
As per the latest update by PTI, The Ministry of Education will soon review the situation to decide on conducting the two remaining editions of engineering entrance exams JEE-Mains and medical entrance exam NEET in August. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release JEE Main 2021 examination dates for both sessions at least 15 days before the exam
UCEED
Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) was conducted on 17 January 2021 in online mode and the result declared on March 10, 2021.
FDDI
Footwear Design & Development Institute will issue the admit cards for the FDDI AIST exam on June 24. The test will be conducted on July 4 in offline mode.
SEED
Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) has been cancelled this year due to the -19 pandemic. For admission, A portfolio review and a personal interaction round over video conferencing will be conducted between June 19 to 27, 2021.
AIEED
All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) will be conducted between June 10 to June 20, 2021, in online mode. The application form was released in November 2020.
NIFT
The National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFT) was conducted on February 14 in offline mode and the result declared on March 17, 2021.
CEED
The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) was conducted across 24 cities in India between 9 am to 12 noon on 17-Jan- 2021 in online mode. The results for the same were declared on 08-Mar-2021.
NID
The National Institute of Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) prelims were conducted on March 14, 2021, for both BDes and MDes course admissions. NID DAT Mains 2021 is likely to be held in June/July as a pen and paper-based test.
PAF
The Pearl Academy (PAF) Entrance Exam for the July cycle is scheduled to be held on July 10, 2021, and the personal interview is expected to be held on July 14 & July 15.
