Kolkata: Eight passengers’ sustained injuries as Kolkata- Mumbai Vistara flight got stuck into turbulence minutes before landing in Kolkata.
According to a statement of Vistara’s spokesperson, Flight UK775 operating Mumbai-Kolkata on June 7 encountered severe turbulence for 15 minutes before landing and also that Vistara will investigate the incident.
Four passengers out of eight injured are released after being given first-aid from a nearby private hospital near Kolkata airport and the other four are admitted in the hospital and one of them is critically injured, confirmed the hospital sources.
