London : A new study has found that 10.01am on Monday is when the most productive hour of the working week begins, says ANI.
The research, which was conducted by LondonOffices.com, also found that from 4pm on Tuesday is the least productive hour of the week, Metro.co.uk reported. Earlier in 2013, one research had pointed out that 2:52pm is the most unproductive time of the day.
Research shows that if you don’t complete it by the end of Monday, your chances of doing everything on the list drop dramatically with two thirds admitting that they never manage to finish everything on it. According to the research, the main reason for this is lack of time but procrastination plays a part with 24 per cent admitting they simply put off tasks they dislike, according to Daily Mail.
During the research, more than half of British women admit to feeling stressed if they don’t manage to finish the tasks from their list. While on the other hand, men have a laid back attitude when it comes to work, with many claiming they don’t bother if their tasks mount up, says Daily Mail.
Of all the daily tasks, facing a bulging inbox was cited as the most demanding by people polled. It was named as top priority, with three quarters earmarking it as major task. Two thirds of workers even said ‘arranging their to-do list’ was a priority in itself.
Psychologist Linda Blair said: “Working efficiently and completing tasks to a deadline are challenges many of us struggle with in today’s demanding world.”
“The research reveals many of us do not know how to find the time to get things done, either at work or in the home,” reports Daily Mail.
