Woman raped by father-in-law

Bahraich (UP): A 25-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her father-in-law in Fakharpur area here, police said today. According to a complaint lodged by the victim, her father-in-law, 65, raped her repeatedly for the past few months, they said. The woman, whose husband lives in Mumbai, yesterday approached District Magistrate Abhay Kumar, on whose directives an FIR was registered against the accused, who is absconding. The matter is being investigated, police said.
