Jaipur – The Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Rajasthan and seven others were booked by the Ajmer police at the Bandarsindri Police Station in connection with harassment of a Dalit scholar.
A First Information Report (FIR) was r3egistgered following a court order.
Meanwhile, acholar Umesh Kumar Jonwal has also challenged his expulsion from the university, and the stopping of his JRF grant in the Rajasthan High Court.
He was expelled in October after he remained absent from the university continuously for 15 days.
