Sania Mirza is one of the most celebrated Indian sportswomen who has time and again made her nation proud. tennis star recently took a break from her career to cherish the motherhood. And now the ace tennis star took to her social media handle and shared a picture of her son Izhaan, and wrote, “ Living life in the fast lane can be fun !!! It’s time to say hello to the world � #Allhamdulillah”.
Recently Sania was snapped at the Mumbai airport carrying her baby bear in her arms. While she can be seen all dressed up in black attire, she securely tucked her baby in a cosy fursuit, however, the face of the baby was not visible.
Sania has been out of tennis action since October 2017 and had missed out her Australian Open return earlier this year as well before the announcement of her pregnancy came about. However, while a 2019 return seems likely on the cards, she has kept her eyes fixed on Tokyo Olympics 2020.
“The 2020 Olympics is a long way off. I’ve said this many times that as tennis players, we wish we knew what our lives brought us tomorrow. Having said that though, it definitely looks very doable right now. But one has to wait and watch where life really takes you. Most definitely, I would say coming back to playing is a priority as soon as the pregnancy is done,” the 32-year-old had said.
