New Delhi: Students of Zeenat Mahal Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya in North East Delhi’s Zafrabad area have written to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia urging him to reinstate a science teacher who was transferred in November last year.
The students of the Urdu-medium school have claimed that the transfer during middle of the session is causing them academic loss as the substitute teacher is imparting lessons in Hindi.
“Our previous science teacher Sunita Kumari was transferred in November, 2015 and has now been substituted by another science teacher who is teaching us the subject entirely in Hindi language,” the letter to Sisodia, who is also the Education Minister, said.
“Due to this it has become almost impossible for us to understand three important subjects that are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Moreover since our final examination are very close we request you to please reinstate the teacher as the sudden transfer in the middle of the session 2015-2016 has disrupted our course which was otherwise happening smoothly,” it added.
