A law student from was arrested in Punjab for firing at pizza outlet staff for bringing a cold pizza. Sanam Setia, a law student residing in Kharar, had ordered two pizzas and one bread cheese dip from a Pizza outlet. When the delivery boy brought the pizzas after 20 minutes, Setia alleged that the pizzas were cold and an argument triggered between both of them. Setia refused to pay the bill.
He abused the delivery boy and asked him to call his manager. Setia abused the manager Jasbir Singh on phone, and the latter arrived with 2 other staff at Setia’s house. Setia again abused them at his house. He then went inside, brought his licensed revolver and fired at them. All of them were unhurt as the bullet missed target. Jasbir then informed police who arrested Setia.
The police registered a case against Setia under Section 307 of IPC and various sections of arms act. Police also seized his .22 bore revolver. He was produced in the court and sent to judicial custody. Setia is pursuing 5-year law course from Punjab for about 7 years. He is also into business of selling properties.
