Srinagar: Authorities have beefed up restoration work of parapet walls around Dal Lake, which were damaged during the recent floods in Jammu and Kashmir.
Nayeem Ahmad, who is an engineer working on the project, said, “Around 300 meters of wall was broken. Our restoration work of the parapet walls is in progress. The work will be completed in eight to ten days.”
The tourism industry has again picked up after the disaster.
“After the restoration work is done, tourists can visit the lake. Tourists enjoy traveling here and will come to visit,” said Mandeep Singh, a tourist. (ANI)
