Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
CENTRAL LINE
Dn Slow/semi fast services leaving Mulund from 10.47 am to 3.24 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line Mulund and Kalyan stations halting at Thane, Diva and Dombivali stations and and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Up fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 3.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective halts and and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
Dn fast/semi fast services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.05 am to 2.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective halts and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
All Dn and Up slow locals leaving / arriving CSMT Mumbai from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
HARBOUR LINE
Dn Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.34 am to 3.08 pm and Up Harbour line services towards CSMT Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.21 am to 3.00 pm and will remain cancelled.
However, special local trains will run on CSMT MumbaiMumbai – Kurla and Vashi – Panvel sections during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel Trans Harbour line and Main line from 10.00 am to 4.30 pmDue to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety.
WESTERN LINE
A Jumbo block of Five hours will be taken from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 17th February, 2019 on UP and DOWN Fast lines between Borivali and Andheri stations for the maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments.
During the block period, all trains running on Fast lines will run on Slow lines between Borivali and Andheri.
