Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
Central Railway announced the details of Mega Block for Harbour Line and Central Line on Sunday, 09.12.2018. Western Railway also announced Jumbo Block details in Western Line on 09.12.2018.
CENTRAL LINE
Up slow line services leaving Thane from 10.37 am to 03.31 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga stations halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations and further re-diverted to Up slow line proper at Matunga stations.
Up fast/semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 11.04 am to 03.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
Dn fast/semi fast services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.16 am to 02.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
All Dn and Up slow services leaving/arriving CSMT Mumbai between 11.00 am and 05.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
HARBOUR LINE
Dn Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving CSMT from 10.34 am to 03.08 pm and Up Harbour line services for CSMT Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.21 am to 03.00 pm will remain suspended.
However special local trains will run on CSMT Mumbai – Kurla and Vashi – Panvel section during the block period.
Harbour Line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans – Harbour/Main Line from 10.00 am to 04.30 pm.
WESTERN LINE
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo block will be taken on Up and Dn fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon from 10.35 am to 03.35 pm on Sunday, 9th December 2018. During the block period, all fast line trains will run on slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations.
