Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
Central Line
Up slow line services leaving Thane from 10.37 am to 03.31 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga stations halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations and further re-diverted to Up slow line proper at Matunga stations.
Up fast/semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 11.04 am to 03.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla statins in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
Dn fast/semi fast services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.16 am to 02.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
All Dn and Up slow services leaving/arriving CSMT Mumbai between 11.00 am to 05.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Harbour Line
Dn Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/ Vashi leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.34 am to 03.08 pm and Up Harbour line services for CSMT Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.21 am to 03.00 pm will remain suspended.
However special local trains will run on CSMT Mumbai – Kurla and Vashi – Panvel section during the block period.
Harbour Line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans – Harbour / Main Line from 10.00 am to 04.30 pm.
Western Line
A Jumbo block of Three and half hours will be taken from 00.30 hrs to 04.00 hrs during the intermediary night of Saturday, 29th December and Sunday, 30th December 2018 on UP and DOWN Fast lines between Vasai Road and Bhayandar stations for the maintenance of track, signalling and overhead equipment.
Therefore, there will not be any day block on Western Railway’s suburban section this Sunday i.e 30th December, 2018.
