New Delhi: A host of issues, including the solar panel scam, Telangana and Robert Vadra’s alleged land deals paralysed proceedings in the Lok Sabha today, leading to two adjournments before lunch recess.

It was trouble from the word go when the House assembled for the day as Left party members trooped into the Well demanding resignation of Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the wake of solar panel scam.

TDP members were also in the Well demanding justice to Seemandhra region following the decision on Telangana. Congress members from Seemandhra region were seen protesting from their seats holding placards saying ‘We want justice’.

Some BJP members raised the Vadra issue from their seats citing fresh allegations levelled by IAS officer Ashok Khemka against the son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi. Amid uproar for a few minutes, the House was adjourned till noon. It was a similar story when the House reassembled, with heated exchanges between Left and Congress members from
Kerala, including Union Minister K Suresh, over solar scam.

TDP members again stormed the Well, with one of them,Naramalli Sivaprasad, in the garb of Lord Krishna wearing a crown, a garland and holding a flute and ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ targeting Congress and seeking justice for Seemandhra.

S K Bwiswmuthiary, a member from Kokrajhar, was seen raising a placard demanding separate state of Bodoland. In the din, Speaker Meira Kumar ordered tabling of papers listed for the day. As there was no let up in the uproar, she adjourned the House till 2 PM.

The solar panel issue was raised in the House on a day when the Left is making a massive show of strength in Thiruvananthapuram, with LDF volunteers laying siege to the state secretariat as part of their campaign to demand Chandy’s resignation.
