The attack is being planned in North Kashmir using Improvised Explosive Device (IED) placed inside a vehicle. Intelligence also intercepted the message which revealed that attack may consists of 500-kg explosives this time.
The information is based on leads received through electronic surveillance and sources in terror modules. “The attack is being planned on convoys that are travelling on the Chowkibal and Tangdhar routes in (north Kashmir),” report by intelligence said.
Intelligence has also decoded a message on a closed social media group linked to JeM. According to reports, JeM is planning to recruit local Kashmiri boys to carry out the attack.
