India’s sixth navigational satellite launched

Sriharikota: The Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) workhorse Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C32 on Thursday lifted India’s sixth navigational satellite IRNSS-1F here at 4 p.m.

The countdown for the launch was started on Tuesday at Satish Dhawan Space Centre.

As per reports, the Mission Readiness Review Committee and the Launch Authorisation Board met at Sriharikota on Monday evening and cleared the 54 and half hours countdown, starting at 9:30 a.m on Tuesday.

During the countdown, propellant filling operations would be taken up in the four-stage vehicle.
