Patidar quota agitation leader Hardik Patel is all set to tie knot with his childhood friend. Hardik will get married at a simple wedding ceremony in Surendranagar on January 26-27.
The 25-year-old social activist will be tying the knot with Kinjal Patel, said reports. The two-day wedding ceremony is likely to be a low-key affair with only 50 persons from each side participating in it, the reports added. Kinjal, who is a year or two younger than Hardik, is originally from Viramgam and her family is settled in Surat. Kinjal belongs to Parikh-Patel community, is a graduate and is currently pursuing Law degree. According to reports, Bharat Patel and Hardik’s close aide Nikhil Savani have confirmed the development.
Bharat Patel told the Indian Express, “Yes, they will be getting married at Digsar village in Surendranagar district on January 27.” Hardik’s father also stated that the family would have liked him to marry at Umiya Dham in Unjha, the main temple of reigning deity of Kadva Patidars, Goddess Umiya. “However, it is not possible since Hardik has been banned from entering Unjha by the court,” Hardik’s father told the leading daily.
