New Delhi : Congress leader P.C. Chacko on Wednesday said that the Gurdaspur terror attack clearly highlights Pakistan’s evil intentions, and intentions of Pakistan, and added that the nation is one of its stiff challenges in countering it.
“Gurdaspur incident has once again very clearly brought out the evil intentions of Pakistan. The tragedy of this whole thing is that there is a very serious intelligence failure,” he told ANI.“The nation is one in facing the challenge of Pakistan. At the same time it cannot be ignored that it is a very serious lapse of the intelligence,” he added. The Ministry of Home Affairs had earlier said that the terrorists involved in the Gurdaspur terror attack, which has claimed the lives of several civilians and police personnel, are linked to terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
