Goodbye dynasty: Rahul ‘missing’ in posters, too

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi, who was conspicuous by his absence at a farewell dinner hosted by his mother Sonia Gandhi to mark the end of the 10-year tenure of Dr Manmohan Singh as Prime Minister, is back in the Capital. B

ut now, it seems, by an uncanny coincidence, his picture is missing on some posters put up at the party headquarters in Delhi, a day before the results are to be declared. Sonia also does not feature in the posters. Instead, the lone image is that of the party symbol, the hand. It seems the party is finally saying goodbye to ‘dynasty.’ Rahul is likely to speak to the media along with the Congress President on the election results. Both have earlier addressed the media jointly at AICC headquarters after the drubbing in Assembly polls a few months back.
