New Delhi : The students of FTII who are in the capital demanding the removal of Gajendra Chauhan as the head of the premiere institute, accused the government on Wednesday of ‘mudslinging’ the students in order to shift the focus from the real issues.

According to reports, the FTII students said they are not being taken seriously but that will not deter them from their cause and they will continue the fight with the ‘limited sources’ they have. “It is disheartening to see that a government-run institute is being questioned by the government itself and students are being character assassinated left, right and Centre,” FTII students association president Harishankar Nachimuthu said at a Press conference.

He also added that people associated with the government are needling them with pointless questions in an attempt to divert the attention from the main issue. Even though the FTII students are no way close to resolving their issue they have been garnering support from many political parties. Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal have openly supported the students
