New Delhi: A special court on Wednesday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to give to the Delhi government, photocopies of documents it had seized in a raid from the office of Rajendra Kumar, principal secretary of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
On December 15, the CBI raided the office of Rajendra Kumar in connection with a ‘corruption’ case.
Special CBI judge Vinod Kumar of the Patiala House Court said the court has instructed the CBI that the documents to be handed over by December 28.
It also fixed hearing on the issue of possible action against CBI officials for January 6. The Delhi government had approached the court, seeking release of the documents.
It also demanded stringent action against CBI officials over the seizures since it had paralysed the government.
