New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and controversy go hand in hand. A cartoon by well known illustrator Surendra, which was published in The Hindu, was tweeted by Kejriwal to show how the JNU row is coming handy for the BJP to deflect attention from pressing issues.

The seemingly innocuous cartoon shows an arsonist with his tail ablaze telling PM Narendra  Modi: “Done Sir. All attention is on JNU,” thereby drawing attention  from the fire at the Make in India venue.

The denizens of social media immediately latched onto the cartoon with ‘right-minded’ (pun intended) users attacking Kejriwal for lampooning Hanuman who had set Lanka ablaze with his tail-end. The cartoon was trending all day and Twitter users had a field day running down the CM for hurting Hindu sensibilities.
