Michigan : A young doctor from Kerala was found shot dead in his car in the US. The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Ramesh Kumar.
Ramesh is the younger son of Narendra R Kumar, former president of American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and the Association of Kerala Medical Graduates.
On Thursday , the body of Ramesh Kumar was found in the passenger seat of his car. He was a doctor in the Urology department of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
A relative of Ramesh said, “On Friday morning we got information that Ramesh was found dead inside his car. On Thursday, when he did not reach the hospital, a colleague called up his father. Then Narendra Kumar called and sent several text messages to Ramesh. But he did not revert. Following this, he lodged a complaint with the police. During the search, police found him shot dead inside his car which was parked at a rest area on the highway in Michigan. His body was found in the back seat of the car,” he said.
