PANAJI: After successfully hosting India’s first-of-its-kind Purple Fest: Celebrating Diversity this year, Goa is all set to host the International Purple Fest, an event inclusive of persons with disabilities from January 8 to 13, 2024.

The Purple Fest
Sawant stated that the empowerment of persons with disabilities is not an act of charity but a matter of human rights and social equality. He mentioned that the international edition will extend the Purple Fest experience to a global audience, bridging cultures and nurturing artistic collaborations on an unprecedented scale.
“By creating an inclusive, accessible, and supportive society, we can unlock the potential and talent of countless individuals who can contribute to the betterment of the community,” the chief minister said, urging people to commit to the cause.
Event to witness global participation
Sawant invited people from across the globe to participate in this event, which will be held from January 8 to 13, and mentioned that the state has successfully hosted various international events, including G20 meetings.
“We envision International Purple Fest 2024 as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change on a global scale. By uniting diverse perspectives, we can create a world that truly celebrates the uniqueness of each individual.
