We must have heard the bollywood song, Tak TaNa NaNa Tandoori Nights…however it has nothing to do with food. But we have come across some of the best restaurants and dhabas in Mumbai that serve delicious food cooked in traditional tandoors or clay ovens. So calm down those hunger pangs by taking down some heavenly tandoori dishes.

Like the name suggests the place treats you “special”. They are the masters for succulent chicken that has been well marinated. It is a small place which serves great food. Some of their famous picks are Tandoori Chicken, Mutton Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Roll, Chicken Bhuna and more. They have two outlets on the same street, where one serves alcohol and the other doesn’t since the building hosts a Gurudwara. The place is not too fancy but they stand uptight for their amazing food. It offers top notch North-Indian cuisine. This place has two types of seating arrangement- one is a typical dhaba style, while the other is fine dining. It has a traditional Punjabi decor, with the staff also dressed in a similar avatar. The picturesque here is of a local Punjabi village and so is the aroma of all the dishes cooked here. They specialize in Chicken Tikka and Kalmi Kebab along with other mouth watering dishes.
