Chote Miyan
Tucked away in Yari Road, Andheri West, this unprepossessing joint is rather a surprise in waiting. Crowded by school and college students in the evenings, it is known for its hot, crunchy kebabs and rolls. Launched by Asad Habibm Lashkariya in 2001, Chote Miyan serves around 100 customers each day. The recipes, prepared by the owner himself, are a product of many innovative experiments. While the simple chicken roll continues to be a perennial favourite, the other varieties on offer are cheese, mutton, egg and beef. The rolls are made of maida, green chuntey and onions. On average, one can enjoy a filling meal here from Rs 60 to 80.

Mumbai Tawa
Located in DN Nagar, Andheri West, Mumbai Tawa offers one of the most relaxed as well as professional service among road side eateries. While it does provide take away, the scrumptious meal is best enjoyed hot in your car. On its menu is Chicken Tikka Kathi Roll, Chicken Seekh Kathi Roll, Egg Takatak Kathi Roll, Mix Veg Kathi Roll and more. Open from 6 pm to 1:30 am, this joint maintains high sanity and quick service. It also has other branches in Dadar West, Thane West and Malad West.

Hangla’s has indeed deserved its reputation as one of the must try joints in town. Serving the taste of Kolkata, it has branches all over Mumbai such as Lokhandwala, Linking Road (Bandra), Goregaon, Powai, Kandivali, Colaba and more. Indulge in some of the specialities like Double Chicken Roll, Paneer Roll, Egg Roll and Double Mutton Roll. Made in spicy curry and overloaded with fresh veggies these rolls are a favourite amongst celebrities as well. Moreover, it is relatively easy on the pocket: an average meal for two costs between Rs 200 to 300.

Started in 1985, this humble joint has been serving many a hungry stomachs. Located near Kala Ghoda, this outlet is the destination of many swanky cars at night. Some of the delicacies include Chicken Tikka Rolls, Seekh Kebab Rolls, Reshmi Chicken Rolls and Shahi Rolls served with two chutneys, lemons and finely chopped onions.

Carter’s Blue
Located at Carter Road opposite Café Coffee Day, Carter’s Blue is a popular haunt for college students and teenagers. It serves an exotic range of over twenty rolls ranging from vegetarian varieties like mushrooms, baby corn, AchariyaAloo to non-vegetarian options that include Spicy Chicken Spring, Butter Chicken and Mutton Bhuna Roll. The meal is best accompanied with some of the freshly squeezed juices also on offer.
