Spoken 2.0: Celebrate words, voices and stories at the festival of words happening in Mumbai

Do you believe in the power of words? If you answer is ‘yes’, Spoken 2.0 is where you need to be this weekend. The two-day festival takes over the lush green lawns of JioGarden, giving the stage to some of the most vibrant voices. From poets and storytellers to thespians and musicians, the fest promises an incredible line-up of artists from varying genres of poetry, spoken word, fusion music bands, hip-hop musical vocalists and more. Expect performances from actor Jim Sarbh, Kubbra Sait, Rajshri Deshpande, Bhuvan Bam, Prateek Kuhad, Gurmehar Kaur, Amit Tandon, Hussain Haidry, and the Indian Ocean, to name a few. Spoken 2.0 serves up an interesting mix of acts and performances which will move you, make your heart sink and brim with joy at the same time.

A full-service food court will serve up local grub, offering respite and refueling between performances. Sip chai on a charpoy or grab a beer and unwind, allowing all those words to marinate. From theatre to poetry, storytelling to songs, you’ll be transfixed, transported and maybe even transformed. The festival is for everyone who is passionate about performing arts – be it musicians, poets, and storytellers. Spoken 2.0 is the definitely is the place to spend an evening with like-minded people.
