We all are aware of the fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a yoga enthusiast and the brain behind the establishment of International Yoga Day – June 21. The day is marked each year with yoga events in the country and abroad. With International Day of Yoga around the corner, Modi has been posting animated yoga videos on Twitter since June 5, wherein he is seen as a yoga instructor. The 3D video shows Narendra Modi’s animated version donning a T-shirt and black track pants performing yoga asanas while a voice-over in the background highlights the benefits of the asana. So far, 13 videos have been share in the series. PM Modi introduced the video in his monthly radio address.

Trikonasana – To Strengthen Back Muscles

The video published on June 5 explains the benefits of Trikonasana.

Benefits of Trikonasana are:

· Strengthens back muscles

· Strengthens thighs, shoulders, chest, and spine

Those suffering from neck or back injury, Slip Disc, or Sciatica is advised to avoid the asana.

Tadasana (Palm Tree Asana) – To Straighten the Posture
