Be it specially curated workouts or strict meal plans, a lot goes into getting those toned muscles we see on the red carpet and in films. On World Health Day, we take a look at their mentors who worked equally hard in motivating these celebs in achieving their desired body. Be it Varun Dhawan for Kalank or Katrina Kaif for Ek Tha Tiger; here are eleven celebrity fitness trainers and how much they charge per session.
Farhan Akhtar- Samir Jaura- Rs 3 to 4 lakh a month
Farhan Akhtar’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag regimen was designed by expert fitness trainer Samir Jaura. It was a difficult task to make Farhan achieve the Olympic athlete body he sported in the film. Jaura charges anywhere between Rs 3 to 4 lakh a month, including nutrition.
Katrina Kaif- Yasmin Karachiwala- Rs 19,500 for 12 sessions
Katrina Kaif has recently started doing a lot of action movies like Phantom, Ek Tha Tiger and Dhoom 3 to name a few. Yasmin Karachiwala who runs Body Image is a Pilates expert and has been in the business for over two decades. Her clients also include Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone. Yasmin charges around Rs 19,500 for 12 sessions at Body Image.
Aamir Khan- Satyajit Chaurasia- Rs 10,000 to 1 lakh

Remember Aamir Khan’s chiselled eight pack abs from the film Ghajini? Well, the credit goes to his trainer Satyajit Chaurasia. With decades of experience, he is in demand and the price speaks for itself. Satyjit has stated that he would do it for free if he likes a client but on an average charges Rs 10,000 to 1 lakh per session.
Sara Ali Khan- Samir and Namrata Purohit- Rs 32,000 for 12 personal training sessions
Sara Ali Khan has been spotted by the paps post her intense workouts. Her trainer Namrata Purohit along with her father Samir, are also responsible for the health regime of several Bollywood celebs like Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Femina Miss India Pageant since 2011. They charge Rs 32, 000 for 12 personal training sessions.
Tiger-Shroff, Salman Khan- Manish Advilkar- Rs 35,000 a month
Who wouldn’t want the macho body of Tiger Shroff? Manish Advilkar has trained Salman Khan (for wrestling film Sultan) as well. Unlike other celebrity trainers who narrow themselves to few clients, Manish caters to Mr India winners and international bodybuilding champions too. With over 20 years of experience, he charges around Rs 4,000 for each home session. But for those who wish to train at his gym, it is Rs 35,000 a month
Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan- Payal Gidwani Tiwari- Rs 6,000 per class
Although Kareena is hitting a different gym with her BFF Amrita Rao as of now, her previous trainer and Yoga expert, Payal Gidwani Tiwari of Cosmic Fusion has Saifeena on her client list. She charges around Rs 6,000 per class.
Shahrukh Khan- Deanne Pandey- Rs 22,000 for an annual package at Play Health and Fitness
Deanne Pandey is a fitness trainer, gym instructor and author of two books who runs Play Health and Fitness. Her clients include Shahrukh Khan, Bipasha Basu and Lara Dutta. An annual package at her den will cost you Rs 22,000 annually.
Jacqueline Fernandez- Cindy Jourdain- Rs 12,000 for 12 classes
Jacqueline Fernandez is a client of Cindy Jourdain who runs Cindy’s bootcamp. She is a crossfit coach and qualified personal trainer. Cindy charges Rs 12,000 for 12 classes.
Sonam Kapoor- Radhika Karle- Rs 50,000 per month
Radhika Karle is accredited for Sonam Kapoor’s amazing toned body. Owner of Radhika’s balanced body, she is a nutritionist, yoga and pilates instructor. A monthly package would cost you Rs 50,000.
Hrithik Roshan- Kris Gethin- Rs 20 lakh a month
The Greek God of Bollywood has been crowned as a desirable man thanks to his toned body. He pays Kris Gethin a whopping Rs 20 lakh a month to keep up with his muscles.
