Mumbai : Young actress Taapsee Pannu, who was last seen in ‘Baby’ along with Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubatti, says that she would never be seen playing an actor’s mum on the big-screen for which she plans to retire young!
In a recent interview, sharing her fears of having a short spanned-career, the lovely actress said, “I don’t know what destiny has planned for me and I don’t go by my plans either. I have never been able to successfully go according to my plans. That’s why I am here. I let Destiny take its own call and course. I am not going to act all my life. My acting career will end one day.” On being probed on this, she further added saying, “The moment I am done playing lead roles, I will be the first one to step out of this industry. You will never see me playing bhabhi or mother to an actor.”
It’s noted that the actress’s film ‘Running Shaadi.Com’ has been on a hold for a very long time now. On being asked about the film she said that though she is not waiting for the film’s release but she does have hopes of it doing well, whenever it hit the theatres.
“I am not sitting and waiting now. (Laughs) But Crouching Tigers Productions have the knack of making the movies hits regardless of their delay. So I am not questioning them about the delay of ‘Running Shaadi.Com’. Maybe this delay will prove to be a blessing in disguise,” said Taapsee. Well we surely do hope so!
