Vicky Kaushal’s recent revelations about hiding behind the curtains of Shah Rukh Khan‘s house proved that just like us, even celebrities have super awkward moments in their life. It so happened that Vicky who was on a chat show revealed that how he, Rajkummar Rao and Taapsee Pannu ended up dressing casuals at Shah Rukh’s birthday party where rest of the celebrities put their best fashion foot forward.
Vicky while talking on a chat show said, “So Shah Rukh sir called me and said, ‘It was my birthday a few days ago. It’s just a chill dinner, so come with your friends.’ It was my first time at Mannat and I was so happy that it was a chill get-together for his birthday. So I go in my denims and T-shirt and shirt over it, just casual.”
Little did Vicky know that for the A-listers of Bollywood dressing casual still means putting on those glittery and shimmery dresses from their wardrobe. He said he was surprised to see celebrities like Malaika and Kareena in heavy Indian attire at SRK’S birthday bash. “I enter and see Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, everyone in like heavy Indian. Me, Taapsee, Rajkummar Rao…three-four of us were prepared for a birthday casual scene till we realised that we were so off. We were hanging out in one corner behind the curtain. Like, bar ke peeche wale curtain ke peeche wale wall ke peeche. We were like, koi dekh na le humein. I was so embarrassed because I was the first of that lot to enter.”
On work front, Vicky has interesting line up of films. He is currently shooting for horror comedy film alongside Bhumi Pednekar. The actor’s upcoming film includes Takht, Udham Singh biopic and Sare Jahan se Acha. He was recently also in news for his alleged break up with girlfriend Harleen Sethi.
