Priyanka Chopra has been going around the globe dominating headlines, and all of it amplified after her marriage to American pop singer Nick Jonas. The actress who was recently in the news for her alleged divorce rumour by a magazine, has proven time and again that she is unshakable and unstoppable.
In a throwback video from 2006, Priyanka was a guest on the popular chat show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. While on the show, the Quantico actress did speak at length on her personal and professional life. However when asked of her experience in Bollywood she had a brow raising response. Simi asked her, “What do you not like about films, about being in Bollywood?” To which she replied, “I don’t like people who are pretentious, and most of them are. I mean we do have intelligent people around but there are so many people who are so fake. That’s just something I cannot stand. I mean I think even I was at the beginning. I was completely not entirely what I am.”
Furthermore when quipped on what she thinks about media gossip, she stated, “You could never get used to that. I don’t think it’s a part of my job first of all to feed gossip mongers. Second of all I just ignore it now. It hurts when the gossip is false, because eventually it spoils relationships.”
On the work front Priyanka will be next seen in Shonali Bose’s film The Sky is Pink. The celluloid also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Meanwhile in Hollywood, PC will be working on a wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling.
