TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary, who would be making his acting debut on the big screen in ‘Khamoshiyan’, recently revealed at an event that he was so concerned about his character in the film that he had initially kept filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt on hold for a long time before saying a yes to the film!
The promos of ‘Khamoshiyan’ show the steamy romance between Gurmeet Choudhary and his leading lady Sapna Pabbi. Being a loyal and loving husband to Debina, when asked Gurmeet if he was apprehensive in doing intimate scenes, he said, “You know I got very excited actually (giggles). No, but actually it was thecharacter’s demand. You don’t usually think about such things while playinga role. I just wanted it to go in the flow. I was more concerned about thecharacter because I was unsure if I would be able to play such a differentrole. For that reason, I did not even respond to Mukeshji for 20 days.Mukeshji called me up about a final decision, and I told him that I wasn’table to decide if I should play the role. But finally I took it like achallenge, and enjoyed it.”
Directed by debutant Karan Darra, produced by Vishesh Films and presentedby Fox Star Studios, ‘Khamoshiyan’ is scheduled to release today.
