A comedian who started his journey by winning a comedy competition, and then hosting a show (Comedy Nights with Kapil) dedicated to him, must have been a surreal experience for the man. And finally with his debut film screaming numbers, Kapil Sharma has made his presence felt on the silver screen also. Definitely a lot to his credit. And here’s the latest new from the comedy man himself. He is all set to produce his first film. That’s right! The comedian-turned actor just made this big announcement on Twitter! He wrote, “13 august 1947 🙂 a film by k9 .. Coming soon :)”
Kapil’s tweet tells us that he’s up to something bigger now after debuting in an Abbas Mastan film. The film’s title seems to be 13th AUGUST, 1974 and it’ll be produced by Kapil’s production company, K9 Productions. From the title, it seems like a film based on the Indian freedom struggle or the partition of India. Not much about the film has been revealed, like the actors, and the director, but we are sure his fans want him to star in it.
Earlier, Kapil had also announced a new venture by his production house saying, “Entertainer of the year ..the search begins soon…… k9′s next venture.” With a lot of things happening in the funny man’s career, we wish him all the best for it.
