After tying the knot at Lake Como in Italy, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are busy with their multiple wedding receptions back home. The couple recently hosted their Mumbai reception for friend and family at Grand Hyatt Hotel. Earlier the couple went to Siddhivinayak to seek blessings of the almighty post their wedding. Both the families of Ranveer and Deepika also went with the couple to Siddhivinayak. Deepika Padukone dressed in light mud grey Sabyasachi closed neck ethnic suit while Ranveer Singh opted for an off-white bandhgala.
With each function Deepika is setting a new fashion goal whether it was her traditional Kanjivaram saris at the Konkani wedding or her lehenga at the recently held dinner party or the royal Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ensemble she wore at the Mumbai reception, Deepika looked stunning in every one of them.
The designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla recently revealed all the things went behind creating Deepika’s ivory and gold ensemble for her Mumbai reception. The duo revealed that it took over 16,000 man hours to create the ensemble. The video which they posted online shows how the entire outfit was hand embroidered by women artisans from Lucknow.
The ivory featured a long trail and was amped up by a demi-sari and a heavy intricate chadar as a head dupatta. She had teamed up the stunning lehenga with a gold zardosi , crystal and resham blouse which was decked up with floral motifs and huge pearl tassels offsets. Deepika completed her look with a multi-tiered floral necklace in rose cuts and heavy geometric earrings in pearls, polkis , and gold.
