Varun Dhawan, the current heartthrob, apparently did not take much advantage of his famous surname in his student days. While many people flaunt what they have got, this lad who happens to be the son of the King Of Comedy in Hindi Films, David Dhawan used to fake his name in front of many people so as to ensure they did not get to know about his surname and the fact that he was the son of a famous filmmaker.
“I used to register myself with fake names like Rahul Khanna or something because I did not want my last name to be revealed,” said Varun.
Varun was shown the glamorous corridors of Tinselwood by his mentor, Karan Johar and was very lavishly launched as the ‘Student Of The Year’. Now his second film, ‘Main Tera Hero’, a comedy is directed by his father David Dhawan and features Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri in pivotal roles with this handsome hunk. And no, he isn’t hiding his famous surname any longer!
