News is that actor Varun Dhawan recently got injured on the sets of his upcoming dance film ‘ABCD 2’, which is a sequel to ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’. According to reports, Varun ended up injuring his back seriously while performing a dance step for a scene in the film. But being the professional that he is, Varun resumed the shoot after taking an injection.
In fact the actor was back on his feet and completed the shoot schedule. And now that the shoot has been wrapped up, it’s being said that the actor has been resting at his residence as he’ll recover completely in a week. Talking about the incident, Varun said that he is currently recovering from the back injury.
It’s noted that this is not the first time that Varun has been injured while shooting for his film. The actor is said to have faced a on the sets of his debut film ‘Student Of The Year’ and also injured his back while performing an aerial stunt for his film ‘Main Tera Hero’, in the past.
Meanwhile, ‘ABCD 2’ also features Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhu Dheva in the lead roles. Directed by Remo D’Souza and produced by Walt Disney, the film is inspired from the story of an Indian dance troupe which made its mark in the Worldwide Hip Hop Championships. The film is said to be shot extensively in Las Vegas and other locations.
