It was a star studded night at Umang 2019 when all celebrities came under one roof to celebrate the hard work of Mumbai Police. The Umang Mumbai Police Show 2019 saw the performances from many stars. Simmba, Singham and Sooryavanshi aka Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar along with their director Rohit Shetty reunited and lauded the efforts of the cops
Akshay Kumar took to social media on Sunday to share a fun boomerang video with Rohit Shetty and the superstar cops of his movie-verse. In the clip, the four stars are kicking in the air. While everyone was dressed for the occasion, Akshay was sporting police uniform. “Here’s Bajirao, Simmba and Sooryavanshi along with our creator, @itsrohitshetty signing off from the #Umang show tonight.” Akshay captioned the video.
Ranveer Singh gave a paisa vasool performance on his hit tracks including ‘Mera Wala Dance’ as the audience cheered for him. He greeted the cops backstage and even bonded with him.
Ranveer, Akshay, Rohit and Ajay all three of them came on stage together to make an important announcement. A cheque of Rs. 51 lakhs was presented to the Mumbai Police Welfare fund from the profits of Simmba for the officers and the families of those who were martyred on job. Check out the picture below
On the professional front, Akshay Kumar has a power packed 2019 with four releases this year with Kesari, Mission Mangal, Good News, Housefull 4, Ranveer Singh too has one release this year with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. Ajay Devgn, meanwhile, also three releases with Total Dhamaal, De De Pyaar De, and Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior.
