Twitterati urge Pakistan PM Imran Khan to share ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ trailer

The first trailer of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ was released yesterday, and it gained huge response on social media from fans. RSVP media took to Twitter and shared the video saying, “Aaj tak hamari सहनशीलता ko hamari कमज़ोरी samjha jaata tha, magar ab nahi. Ye naya हिंदुस्तान hai, ye हिंदुस्तान ghar mein घुसेगा bhi aur मारेगा bhi!! #URITrailer out now! (Till today our tolerance used to be considered our weakness, but not anymore. This is new India. This India will enter the house and attack too).

Soon after the trailer was out, social media users started discussing about surgical strike which took place in 2016, and netizens, unforgiving on Pakistan for the rampant terrorism it has launched from its soil onto India, took to Twitter and asked Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan to share the trailer.

Talking more about the trailer the two and a half minute action-packed trailer features Vicky Kaushal as an Indian soldier who leads the army for the mission. Beside Vicky, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, and Mohit Raina in the lead. It is written and directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP Movies. ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is all set to hit the theatres on January 11, 2019.

The film is based on attack by Pakistani terrorists on the Indian Army brigade HQ in Uri, J&K and subsequent Surgical Strike by Indian security forces on terror launch pads in Pakistan.
