Salman Khan has again found trouble! Well, controversies child Salman Khan recently got negative comments on social media for making joke of a lady contestant of the dance reality show, ‘Dance Deewane’.
Apparently, Salman Khan recently made an appearance on the dance reality show to promote his upcoming film Race 3. Amid all the fun on the sets, a 42-year-old contestant Meenal Dhapre received some disturbing comments made from Sallu bhai which was an apparent joke.
Salman made a number of remarks on her, apparently to create humour that appeared more like fat shaming. As per the reports of India Today, being a big fan of Madhuri Dixit, who is also a judge of the show, the contestant wished to hug her once before her performance and was coming down on the sets. While she was coming, Salman jokingly said, “aram aram se, kahin stage na toot jaye (take it easy or else the stage might break).”
Bhai didn’t stop here and when she said that she belongs to a “chhota sahar” (small town), he replied asking how she could fit in a small town. Moreover, at one point, an excited Meenal fell before her performance, following which Salman remained standing near the stage for some time. “Main wahan isliye khada tha ki aap kahin fir se tappa khakar gir gayi toh (I was standing there because I thought what if you bounce and fall again),” he later said.
Though he didn’t do any fat-shaming, twitteratis were offended by bhai’s behaviour, and they started trolling Sallu for his misdeed.
